   Mrs. Phyllis A. Sheppard, 102, of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, March 20.
   She was born in Richmond, Indiana on April 23, 1919 to Marco and Carmela Alterizio DeLucio. She was a 1937 graduate of Morton High School. She married Noble M. Sheppard on June 21, 1941. They shared 41 years of marriage and were blessed with two children before his death in 1983. Mrs. Sheppard was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester.
   Mrs. Sheppard worked at Belden during World War Two. She lived over 77 years on the same farm, where she was a homemaker, farm wife and also worked with her husband to operate Noble Sheppard Excavating, Inc. Mrs. Sheppard loved baking, crocheting and growing flowers. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many people in her life lovingly referred to her as “Aunt Billie”.
   Mrs. Sheppard will be missed by her daughter & son-in-law, Marilyn & Tom Delk; grandchildren, Shari Hinshaw & husband, Dave; grandson, Jeff Delk & companion, Amanda Shinn; grandchildren, Travis Delk, Serena Hinshaw and Wyatt Shinn; great-great-grandchildren, Laine Delk and Noble Delk; sister, Lorene Sue Stallings & husband, George; special sister-in-law, Evelyn Sheppard; sisters-in-law, Onda DeLucio and Judy Delucio; brothers, Paul DeLucio & wife, Romaine; Robert DeLucio & wife, Nancy; and many nieces & nephews.
   Mrs. Sheppard was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Michael
Sheppard; sisters, Francis Shafer, Kate Rains, Edith Brown, Roslyn DeLucio, Antoinette “Toni” Norman and Virginia Perri; and brothers, Nick DeLucio, Fred DeLucio, John DeLucio and Marco Raymond “Butch” DeLucio.
   A private service will be observed by her family.
   Memorial contributions are encouraged for the Fountain City Fire Department, PO Box 405, Fountain City, IN 47341.
