Richard Frame

July 22, 1943 — June 9, 2025

Richard W. Frame, 81, formerly of Webster, passed away on Monday, June 9, in Dayton, Ohio.

Richard was born in Richmond, Indiana on July 22, 1943, the son of Raymond A. & Mary Alice Keys Frame. He was a 1961 graduate of Webster High School.

Richard worked at Belden for 10 years. He later began his career as an over-the-road truck driver, logging 3.2 million miles before his retirement. He loved horsepower and spent a lot of time campaigning his pulling tractors and racing cars with his brother, Kenny, for Wells Pontiac.

Richard will be missed by his sons, Rick Frame & wife, Lisa; Jared Kopp & wife, Beth, grandchildren, Derek Frame, Dylan Frame, Megan Sloan, Jessica Newton and Emma Kopp; great-grandchildren, Breanna and Maryn; siblings, Kenny Frame, Charlene Frame (Charlie), and Marlene “Bubbles” Frame; several nieces & nephews and a dear friend, Lynnia (Greg) Potts and their children, Westin and Colton.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol Tweedy Frame; and brother, Norman Frame.

Family and friends may gather from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.

Richard’s life will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 19 at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Webster Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are encouraged for the Webster Cemetery, PO Box 19, Webster, IN 47392.
