Robert Schweizer

Mr. Robert L. Schweizer, 85, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, February 20.
   He was born in Wayne County, Indiana on May 19, 1931 to Cecil F. and Laura McAdoo Schweizer. He graduated from McKinley High School in Winchester. He served in the US Navy from 1950-54.
   Mr. Schweizer was a dairy farmer for many years. He enjoyed reading, watching Westerns, woodworking and playing golf.
   Mr. Schweizer will be missed by his daughters, Linda Monroe, Rebecca French and Patricia Armstrong; son, Robert Wayne Schweizer; sister, Dorothy I. Martzell; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including Ed Walters, who deserves special thanks for caring for his Uncle Bob in recent years.
   Mr. Schweizer was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Vera Schweizer; daughters, Patty Armstrong and Becky French; sister, Louise Franks and brother, Cecil Schweizer.
   A graveside service for Mr. Schweizer will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25 in Willow Grove Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
