Rodney Sickels

   Rodney C. Sickels, 70, of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, February 24 at The Springs of Richmond.  
   He was born in Union City, Indiana on March 3, 1950, the son of Harley and Evelyn Harter Sickels, both of whom preceded him in death.
   Rod was a 1968 graduate of Randolph Southern High School. He formerly works as a mechanic and service manager at Rickert John Deere. He later worked for the Randolph County Highway Department until his retirement.
   Rod is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan Smith Sickels, who he married on March13, 1976; son, James, Sickels; daughter, Elizabeth Sickels; grandsons, Rodney Sickels and Carter Sickels.

   A private service will be held on Monday. March 1 at the home of family.

   Memorial contributions may be given to the charitable organization of the donor’s choice.  

   The Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home in Fountain City is assisting with arrangements.
