Sam worked as a consultant with Verizon Wireless in Eaton. Prior to that, he was a manager for Journeys. He was a creative young man with a passion for music, whether it was writing, composing or performing with a number of instruments, his favorite instrument being the drums. He was always up for a jam session with his friends.

Sam enjoyed the time he could spend with his family, especially with his daughter and son. He was excited about the upcoming birth of brother Tim’s first child, a niece to look up to her Uncle Sam.

Sam will be missed by his best friend and love of his life, Heather Bumbalough; daughter, Harmony; son, Sawyer; mother, Kara Harris; father, Dennis Harris & wife, Heather; brother & best friend, Tim Harris & his partner, Tionna Estrada; maternal grandmother, Linda Hubbell; paternal grandparents, Everett & Patsy Claypoole; uncles, Steve & Kara Harris, Ed & Kim Claypoole, David Reeves; aunts, Julie & Jim Jackson, Krissy & Mick Miller and Amy Stock; Heather’s parents, Jane & Jim Bumbalough; several cousins and many, many friends, including very special friends Andrew Dillman and Korak Ladd.

Sam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sam & Gerry Hubbell; great-grandmother, Maxine “Nana” Reynolds.
