Sharon Hardesty, 66, formerly of Fountain City, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Reid Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Wayne County, Indiana on May 2, 1948 Richard and Rosemary Oxley Stegall. She worked many years as a home health caregiver.
Sharon is will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Susi & Doug Gage; daughter, Michele Chamness; sons, Gary Blackwell and Lee Blackwell and his companion, Theresa Brewer; grandchildren, Billy (Jennifer) Chamness, Nathan Blackwell and Rachel Blackwell; three great-grandchildren and her companion, Harold Vanover.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry Hardesty; grandson, Derek Ramsey and brother, Richard “Rich†Stegall.
In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, she has been laid to rest with her family in Willow Grove Cemetery.
