Sharon Kaye (Martin) Parrish, 64, went to live with the Number One Man in her life and left behind Number Two and Three.
She was born on September 24, 1949 to Albert “Dick†Jr. and Paralee Fox Martin. She grew up in the Williamsburg area and was a 1967 graduate of Williamsburg High School.
Sharon had served as transportation director of Head Start before retiring.
Sharon will be missed by her husband of 47 years, Bill Parrish; son, Bob Parrish and Kim; sister, Pam and Arnold Sowers; brothers, Bill Martin, Jerry and Joyce Martin, Mike and Liz Martin, and Tony and Pam Martin; sister-in-law, Juanita Martin and several nieces & nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Joan Donovan and brother, Jerald Martin.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 2 at The Journey, 2301 Pleasant View Road, Richmond. Interment will follow in New Garden Cemetery.
Family & friends may gather for visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 2 at The Journey.
