Sue Duvall, 83, of Fountain City, passed away on Saturday, October 2.

She was born Beverly Sue Hill on November 22, 1937 in Wayne County, Indiana to Harold & Martha E. Cox Hill. She married Bob Duvall on June 9, 1968. They were blessed with 2 children.

Sue was a faithful member of the Arba Friends Church, where she enjoyed leading the singing, teaching Sunday School and serving as Treasurer for 50 years. She also had a deep love for family who will be remembered as a great cook.

Sue enjoyed a career in administration. She served 16 years at Wallace Metal Products in Richmond before taking a position at Astral Industries in Lynn, where she retired in January 2018 as Payroll Administrator after 30 years of service.

Sue will be missed by her husband, Bob, daughter & son-in-law, Michelle & Eric Fields; son & daughter-in-law, Randy & Jenny Duvall; 6 grandchildren, Miranda Smith, Randy “Bub” Duvall, Jr., Eric Fields, Jr., Alexis Null, Chancellor Fields and Zachary Duvall; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Nicholson and her husband, Jim, Karen Hicks and her husband, Mike, and Brenda Hill and her companion, Helen Clemens; brothers, Dan Hill and his wife, Gloria, Duane Hill and his wife, Joyce, Bob Hill and his wife, Susan, and Rex Hill; and many nieces & nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Ceremony will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, at the Arba Friends Church, 10632 South Arba Pike.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, at the church.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Arba Friends Church, 10632 Arba Pike, Lynn, IN 47355.

The Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, Fountain City, is assisting with funeral arrangements.
