Terry Bufford

Terry Bufford, 59, of Fountain City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 15 at Reid Health.
   Terry was born in Richmond, Indiana on September 9, 1959, to Ernest and Ruth Abney Bufford. He was a 1977 graduate of Northeastern High School. He married the former Carol Fellers on September 27, 1980 and they were blessed with two children. He coached Little League teams when his kids were younger and enjoyed watching football and Cincinnati Reds baseball.
   Terry was a people person and made friends with ease. He put that gift to work in a career in sales, beginning with Lee Supply in Richmond. He later worked as a driver for the Amish and sold barns for Fisher Construction.
   Terry loved music and enjoyed singing, playing guitar and teaching others to play. He made friends worldwide sharing his music on Facebook through The Guitar Stage page. He also loved to share his love for the Lord and maintained his salvation as a member of Whosoever Ministries in Fountain City.
   Terry will be missed by his wife, Carol Bufford; daughter, Indy Bufford and her fiancé, Tommy Carter; son, Cain “CJ” Bufford and his companion, Brittany Paige; granddaughters, Renessa and Ava; mother, Ruth Bufford; sister, Connie Sawyer and her husband, Greg; brother, Cary Todd Bufford and his husbandm Eddie Mingua, Jr.; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Terry was looking forward to the arrival of his first grandson.
   Terry was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Bufford, on December 22, 2011; brother, Ernie Bufford, on October 2, 2016; and niece, Stacey Leah Mosier, on June 18, 2016.
   Family & friends may gather for visitation from 10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, at Whosoever Ministries, 207 North Green Street, Fountain City. Terry’s life will be celebrated beginning at 1:00, followed by interment in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City
