Mrs. Thelma Harris, 85, of Greens Fork, passed away Sunday, January 24 at her residence.


She was born September 24, 1924 in Richmond, Indiana to Jim and Adda Bragg Fletcher. She was a 1942 graduate of Richmond High School.


Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and was formerly employed by K-Mart and the S.S. Kresge Co. in Richmond. She later worked at Reid Hospital before retirement. She attended the Central Christian Church and enjoyed playing BINGO. She also was active in the Rose City Ramblers Square Dance Club.


Mrs. Harris will be missed by her husband of 22 years, Roy Harris; 2 daughters, Eileen Stromveck, of Muncie, and Charlene Roberts and her husband, Gene, of New Paris, Ohio; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Chrystal Dunham, of West Berlin, Germany, and Kenneth B., Jr. and Joan Dunham, of Richmond; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Kenneth B. Dunham, Sr.; 2 grandsons, Carey Morgan II and Michael Dunham; and her son-in-law, Larry Strombeck.


A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Earlham Cemetery.


Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, at the funeral home.
