Mr. Timothy Duane Sadler, 46, formerly of the Lynn area, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 1 in Chesterfield, Virginia.
Born February 21, 1961 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of Barbara Ann (Holecheck) Sadler Pegg and F. Duane Sadler. Tim was a 1979 graduate of Randolph Southern High School and a 1983 graduate of Indiana University. He was formerly employed by Penwalt and later Wood Equipment. He was a manager with John Crane, Inc., where he worked the past 10 years. Tim was always an active young man. He enjoyed working out and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He held a black belt in Karate and also kick-boxed. He enjoyed boating and skiing. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tim will be missed by his daughter, Chaley Sadler and her fiance, Cash vande Plas, Fountain City, grandson, Cabel Timothy Sadler vande Plas, mother and step-father, Barbara and Richard Pegg, Winchester, father and step-mother, F. Duane and Charlotte Sadler, Richmond, maternal grandparents, William and Treva Holecheck, Richmond, sister, Tara Pegg, Winchester, step-sisters, Bonnie Pegg and Leigh Ann Kendall; brother, Todd W. Sadler, Lynn, step-brother, Ryan Pegg, Muncie, 10 cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Will and Lillie Mae Sadler.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 9, at the funeral home.
