Valeria LaFuze

 Valeria Ann LaFuze, 73, of Richmond, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, July 27.

 Born on September 7, 1950 in Union City, Indiana, she was the daughter of Rachel Harshman Austin and J. Max Austin.

 Valeria worked for Spartan Casket and Milso Casket Co. before her retirement. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, and growing flowers.

 Valeria will be missed by her daughters, Tammy Holliday and Angela Hildebrand & her husband, Danny; son, Barry Alvey; 10 grandchildren, Alisha, Jennifer, Tiffany, Jay, Dylan, Evan, Jessika, Bella, Miguel and Elena; 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Debra LaFuze and her son, Eric LaFuze & his wife, Amy; nephew, Adrian Lankford & his wife, Nikki; sister, Cheryl Heacox & her husband, Marvin; brother, James Austin & his wife, Vickie. 

 Valeria was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike LaFuze, daughter-in-law, Monica Alvey and granddaughters, Stacie Alvey and Heather Alvey.

 A private graveside service was held in Spartanburg Cemetery.
