Wade Finney

G. Wade Finney, 67, of Hagerstown, passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday evening, December 16, with his family in his presence. Wade was born on July 17, 1958, in Princeton, Indiana, the son of Richard Lee & Mary Catherine Schenetzke Finney. He was a 1976 graduate of Woodford County High School in Kentucky.

Wade was a resident of Wayne County since 1984. He was a journeyman pressman and a dairy farmer for 20 years before retiring.

Wade will be missed by his daughter, Kelly Finney; sons & daughters-in-law, Lyle & Stephanie Finney, Brad & Amanda Finney and Austin & Keirstan Finney; 12 grandchildren; sister, Gia Finney; brothers, Clay Finney and Bret (Sheila) Finney; and nieces & nephews.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Wade will be from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, December 22, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 South US 27, Fountain City.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time) on Tuesday, December 23, in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 1375 East Ohio Street, Princeton, IN 47670.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged for the Reid Health Foundation for Hospice Care, 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, IN 47374. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
