Wayne L. Williams, 81, of Lynn, passed away on Saturday, October 4, at his residence.
He was born in Lynn on March 27, 1933 to Clyde C. and Anna D. Hinkle Williams, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a 1951 graduate of Lynn High School and was a US Army veteran. He married the former Esther Bowers on Oct. 24, 1954. He lived most of his life in Lynn and was formerly employed by C.C. Williams & Son Hardware. He enjoyed farming most of his life and was a member of the First Church of Christ in Lynn
Wayne will be missed by his wife of nearly 60 years, Esther Williams; his children, Dennis Williams, Debra Misner, Dyan Gentilcore, David Williams and Jason Williams; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his sister, Martha Jane Jennings.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be observed at a later date to be announced.
